Product description
Simple and stylish 1940s white wedding dress in very good condition.
At a three quarter length, this kind dress could also have been dyed after the wedding to provide a new dress in the rationing/make do and mend era.
With a Peter Pan collar and lace modesty panel, the dress fits larger size with a 44″/111.5cm bust and 15.5″/39.5cm waist.
The belt is missing but a white ribbon is included.
It is made from a cool rayon type fabric.
Faults: There are a couple of marks only faintly visible – one on the sleeve and the other a blue dot on the front, but they are very difficult to spot. Photographs included, please study carefully.
There is some fraying to the bottom of the button fastenings on the back of the dress – also pictured.
